PANNA's Water and Pesticides
Information Center
PAN North America has launched a test version of
the WaterPIC, a new web database with the latest available information
about pesticide pollutants in California's rivers, creeks and
other surface waters. This new tool makes it easy to see relationships
between pesticide use and surface water impacts.
Chemical Pesticide Database
Comprehensive chemical database which
includes toxicity, poisoning symptoms, ecotoxicity, registration,
use data, links and information on alternatives. Documentation
provides basic background information on many topics.
International Organic Cotton Directory
The International organic cotton directory
web site was developed by PANNA, PAN Germany, and OTA and it provides
the first fully indexed, international directory dedicated to
organic cotton. It includes information on more than 250 farmers,
companies and organizations working around the globe to grow the
organic cotton market.
PANNA World Bank Project Database
This database is designed to assist
NGOs and community members in identifying World Bank projects
in their countries that may be increasing reliance on pesticides.
Global Pesticide Campaigner
The Global Pesticide Campaigner is
the acclaimed tri-mesterly periodical providing news on pesticides,
genetic engineering and sustainable agriculture from around the
world.
Pesticide Advisor
The Pesticide Advisor is our one-stop
guide to online information to help you with personal pest and
pesticide problems. Topics include home, garden, pets, food, product
information and pesticide exposure.

Pesticides in the News is a daily listing
of recent stories related to pesticides, genetic engineering and

Pesticide Action Network UK launches its new Pesticides and Alternatives
Database
PAN UK launches its new pesticide research database
www.pesticidelibrary.org. The database is a collection of bibliographic
information, which cites over 6000 articles, reports and books
relating to the health and environmental effects of pesticides,
and alternatives to their use.
GM Contamination
Register
GeneWatch UK and Greenpeace have launched an on-line,
searchable web site that gives details of all the known cases
of GM contamination of food, feed, seed and wild plants that have
taken place worldwide.
